It’s been a busy few weeks for Team Suzy! From juggling canvassing events to press conferences, every member of Team Suzy has been hard at work at the campaign season kicks into high gear.
We’ve been so honored to receive a slew of key endorsements for our campaign. We recently earned the endorsement of Katie Porter, CA Representative for District 45. With the support of labor unions such as UA 38, SEIU 87, and Laborers 261, along with endorsements from the SF Women’s Political Committee, SFFD 798 and Smart Justice, we are proud to have a coalition of strong support behind Suzy.
Suzy also recently announced her policies on keeping law enforcement and corporations accountable at a press conference in Hayes Valley. We were overwhelmed by the support of several community leaders who joined Suzy, including Supervisor Shamann Walton, Rev. Amos Brown, Rev. Arnold Townsend, Shawn Richard, Ieeshea Romero, Eddy Zheng, and Sheryl Davis. This just goes to show that Suzy is capable of bringing together people from different communities and will continue to do so as District Attorney.
No one is above the law, and Suzy plans to implement policies that will address environmental pollution, wage theft, and housing discrimination. She also plans to tackle law enforcement accountability by independently investigating police misconduct and increasing transparency.
Suzy also attended the Planning Association for the Richmond Forum, which allowed all the District Attorney candidates a chance to answer questions from the public. Being able to spread her ideas on how to reform San Francisco is important to Suzy; we are so grateful to have the platform to do so in Richmond and are excited for the debates we have lined up!
